Mt. Gardner Inn

Excellent location for day hiking on the east side of the cascades. Comfortable mattress and good sheets and pillows. Good water pressure in the shower and hot water fast. Very, very clean room (I was in #4). Lots of hooks on the walls as well as ample storage space which was nice since I was there for 4 nights. Easy check-in and check-out ... clear communications via email and text. I would gladly stay here again.

Reviews were great so we booked it. I honestly didn't have huge expectations but it was so nice! Quiet, big huge room, big bathroom and overall super clean. We only stayed the one night but wish we had stayed two because Winthrop was such a cool town to stay in before we drove through Cascades. Definitely book it, stay an extra nigh and explore the beautiful valley running south. Surprised us for sure!

Excellent getaway. Quiet, spacious yet intimate feel. Very very clean. Great amenities. Close to everything yet off the hustle and highway. No road noise or car lights from our suite. We loved it. We only wish we were here when it was warmer to actually use the deck and enjoy the view from the comfy looking seating. We will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mt. Gardner Inn in Winthrop. The room was immaculate, indicating how much concern and effort was given to providing us with a first rate experience. However, that was topped by the genuine attention from hostess Alison Knab. She truly cared about our 3 day experience in Winthrop, providing us with details about the quaint little town and other places nearby. She took her time with us and focused on things that were of interest to us. My wife and I stayed here in mid/late September and explored North Cascades National Park for the first time. Mt. Gardner Inn was a great base for our four one-day hikes on weekdays. Our lodging, bath, and bedding were very clean and comfortable, and the amenities provided were as described on the Inn website. We also very much enjoyed exploring the town of Winthrop, which has a unique charm. We hope to return in the future, and have recommended the Inn to friends without hesitation.
