We spent couple nights at one of the wooden cabins at the Big Twin Lake Resort in October. Nice views from the cabin towards the lake, easy check in, good amenities. The cabins are small but equipped with all you need from beds to fridge, microwave and heater. WIFI works well. Close walk to the restrooms. Nice area to sit and chill outside.
I enjoyed my stay at Big Twin Lake Resort very much. It is a unique property in many ways. The place is huge with many of the campsites located in open grassy fields, but plenty of more secluded sites tucked around the perimeter. The sites with hookups are mostly clustered around the office and main bath house. If you venture further out there's a wide variety of dry camping options. Although the area is somewhat developed with private homes surrounding the campground and Big Twin Lake, it still feels somewhat wild with abundant wildlife in the area. I love this place! I truly enjoyed my stay in one of the cabins, which offered lovely views overlooking the lake and a porch swing. The cabin is not only cute but comfortable, especially the beds. Inside, you'll find a convenient mini-fridge, microwave, a small table, a full-size bed, and a set of bunk beds. It was an ideal spot for visiting Winthrop🤠
Big Twin Lakes Resort Campground is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. It’s a family-owned campground, and you can really feel the pride and care they put into every detail. The campground is very well maintained — everything from the grounds to the restrooms were spotless. We stayed at one of the RV sites, which had full hookups and plenty of space. There are also cozy cabins available if you’re looking for more of a “home away from home” feel. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the small lake — perfect for a relaxing day of fishing or boating around peacefully. We were thrilled to find out they offer boat rentals too, which made for a peaceful afternoon out on the water. It’s quiet, scenic, and just what
Camped with a group of Middle School-High School aged athletes for a sports camp. Location was so convenient, smack dab in the middle of all of our activities from running, shooting, hiking and rafting everything was close and convenient. Staff was super friendly, flexible and helpful.
