River Palm Hotel

The night staff was very friendly and helpful. It was sometimes hard to find staff to help though and people would wait during lunch breaks. The room was recently renovated and clean. It had most of the necessities, I just had to ask for a blanket but was not able to get a hair dryer. The location was on a very busy road, but the sound wasn't bad and we were fairly close to town. The towels were very small and thin, but it had almost everything I needed at a great price. It was nice to have the microwave and fridge too. I would stay there again in the future.

The management and his family are nice but.. the house keeping is on drugs and is 51 years old that needs the help of her also 50-ish year old boyfriend to even clean the rooms. They reuse the same sheets from the night before(remake the beds with the same sheets) she has countless of horrible reviews but yet management doesn't do anything. The boyfriend intimidates every single male customer that gets a room there (mind you he doesn't even get paid.) Overall its horrible the rooms smell like smoke and I know for a fact the tubs do not get scrubbed, the floors have goo of some sort on them and the top covers in the weekly rooms haven't been changed in it seems like forever.

Been going here for years! Honestly 5/5 all the way! Idk how this place gets bad reviews. It’s so quiet, peaceful. Neighbors, staff is all cool. Respectful, nice and brief! I love that so much. Pretty simple if you ask me! If you need a place to stay in, watch some tv, have a fridge, coffee maker, a nice shower plus a microwave?? Plus some good tv and WiFi! I love this hotel out of every hotel in Melbourne. Thank you so much again and God bless you and the staff! Much love

I love this place. Very affordable. I've been here 2 weeks now and I love it. From the front desk, to the workers upgrading rooms, to the women that comes and clean your room, everyone is so nice and helpful, and always smiling. I def recommend staying here when you come to town. You won't be disappointed.

The staff here is the best. From the manager, Bob, to the front desk clerks, to the housekeeper who was so conscientiousand thorough in cleaning the room. Every staff member we interacted with was professional, gracious in caring for their guests, and just pleasant to be around. Bob went out of his way to help us during the winter storm that caused our flight to be canceled. He just made the whole experience so much less painful and frustrating by being so responsive and accommodating. The place isn't fancy; but the service provided by the staff exceeds that of many fancier hotels, for half the price. Stay here if you want a clean, well-equipped room, high quality service, and an elevated guest experience.
