Hyatt Place Melbourne Airport

This is the second time we have stayed here. Upon arrival, we were questioned about my service dog. I showed my documentation to Chrissy at the front desk and asked her if there was a problem. She basically ignored me. I went as far as to ask her if we should stay elsewhere. She finally acknowledged me and stated that there had been ‘issues’. I was not able to have a conversation at all about it and she simply acted as if we were not welcome. En route, we stayed at two very nice hotels where we were not questioned, but welcomed. Later on, after Chrissy had gone for the day, we learned that she had charged us a $200 cleaning fee. During our stay, my well behaved dog was quiet and clean. Stayed here once when the hotel was practically empty and once when they had a lot of guests. The facilities such as the rooftop bar and the location at the airport would make this a great place to stay. Everything is very clean and well maintained.||Unfortunately, contrary to its Titusville sister location, the Melbourne airport HP appears to have opted to go without internal soundproofing of any kind. Normal conversations from our neighbors were clearly audible. The front desk claimed they put us in quiet part of the hotel even though we were surrounded by what seemed to be a large family with young, active children occupying several rooms around us.||There seems to be no “quiet time” policy at this HP. ★★★★★ I had a fantastic stay at Hyatt Place Melbourne. The rooms were spotless and very well maintained, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I slept great every night. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made everything easy and welcoming. The absolute best part, though, is the rooftop. Having a drink and something to eat while enjoying the view of the runway and watching airplanes take off and land is such a unique and relaxing experience. It really makes this hotel stand out. Highly recommend staying here. I’ll definitely be back!

Our experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The service was outstanding — the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the entire time. The rooms are modern, stylish, and very comfortable. Everything felt clean, fresh, and thoughtfully designed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel also has a great pool area, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. But the highlight of the hotel is definitely the rooftop. It is simply the best part of the property! The view of the airplanes taking off and landing on the runway is spectacular and makes the experience truly unique.
