Residence Inn by Marriott Melbourne

Nice hotel just down the street from the airport. It has a decent breakfast and gym. The pool and BBQ area is really nice. There are plenty of good restaurants only a short drive from the hotel. The hotel is a great place to watch rocket launches. They post the launches at the front desk.

Now don't get me wrong ..there are some positives but I want to address the issues first. ||Upon first glance this hotel seems to be a well presented building that boasts an enjoyable pool area/lounge area. The lobby is beautiful as well with nice decor and organized and modern aesthetics. Unfortunately once you reach your room, there is a smell. We had a hard time with the odor and the lovely lady at the desk gave us spray. It helped a little and she did mention changing rooms ...but that all the other rooms had a smell also due to humidity. We actually tried to stay out of the room and even went on nightly walks so we didn't have to smell the room. I hope they figure out their humidity issues with some form of a dehumidifier or however a large hotel such as this goes about those types o

Wonderful experience for my Masters graduation! Everyone I spoke to was so kind and enjoyable, the room was beautiful and coffee downstairs was great. Ana was preparing and keeping up with breakfast over the weekend and was so great! She checked on everyone during breakfast and went out of her way to greet everyone and ask how everything was. Got to enjoy our breakfast outside next to the pool both mornings! Great location for where I needed to be with plenty of parking.

Positive: In room amenities and soft comfortable beds Negative: The standard of clean does not exist anymore. Copious amounts of pet hair in rooms. There was even an ant infestations in the room. Hotel is not taken care of like it once was. Breakfast not as good either.

We arrived to the hotel three weeks ago from Georgia. We been looking for houses it's been stressful. I left today I want to thank Marie, Viera they have done excellent customer service. Marie, Viera your kindness made such a difference going through our process of finding a home. Thank you!! I hope you honor them both they really rock.
