Residence Inn by Marriott Washington, DC/Dupont Circle

Amazing property where I felt like I was staying with family! Ronita, Bianca, and Jason showed incredible hospitality. I loved having conversations with them each time I passed by the front desk! They are welcoming, personable, and very friendly. Beautiful rooms as well with a great breakfast included. Quick train ride to see the monuments in DC. Thank you to the whole team at Residence Inn Dupont!

Our two bedroom suite on the sixth floor was perfect for traveling with my husband and mother. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet and we all slept well on the comfortable beds. We easily walked to many restaurants and there is a small market just next door. We never waited more than 10 seconds for an elevator! The best part of this hotel, however, is the staff. Everyone (front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff) is so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast staff are especially attentive, greeting everyone, quickly cleaning empty tables, taking dirty plates and restocking food. They joke with the kids, and travel among the tables to offer muffins or omelets. If we return to DC, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The two bedroom suites are very large and updated with plenty of outlets for electronic devices. Everything was new and in great condition in the rooms. The beds were ok, I've slept at other Marriott's with softer beds. The free breakfast in the morning was well done and Bill was very friendly and helpful. The free Wifi was adequate and nice. The location is good as well. About 2 blocks to the metro, one block to a bicycle rideshare station, and next door to a small grocery store. The staff was not only attentive, but filled all of our requests very quickly. I would recommend this hotel for trips to DC for business or pleasure, we were kind of doing both.

My husband, myself and our daughter stayed this past weekend here. It was our daughter's 7th birthday. Upon entering to check in the staff at the front desk went above and beyond to make our daughter feel special. Before checking out on Sunday she brought her a dozen roses and cupcakes. The location was convenient to public transportation. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely return!

I stayed here during the 2026 TRB Annual Meeting. Jason, Bianca, and Ronita were kind, professional, and helpful. The restaurant opened while I was there and I had a chance to try the cocktails…yum! My room was spacious, quiet, immaculate, as was the hotel. The location was great for my needs and put me close to the places I needed and wanted to go. I’ll definitely revisit for personal travel.
