Residence Inn by Marriott San Antonio Airport/Alamo Heights

We enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect if you want to be closer to the airport. They have a free airport shuttle which made the commute easier. We were pleasantly greeted by Cesar and he made the first impression grand. He also gave us some good recommendations on things to see in San Antonio. The one-bedroom suite was perfect for us. Everything was clean and in order! No complaints at all. Victoria is the front desk agent that handled our check-outs and check-ins. Always provided great customer service and she has a very kind demeanor, which was greatly appreciated! Lori is the breakfast attendant that welcomed me with a smile and good morning, every morning! Hotel staff was very friendly - from the front desk to housekeeping and Maria who was in charge of the daily hot and cold breakfast. She offered to help us with breakfast each day, brought stickers to our kids, and was such a warm and welcoming presence that made our stay that much more enjoyable. She deserves a raise - clearly going above and beyond her job to take the utmost care of guests each day. Overall, the facilities were clean, we felt safe, it’s close to many attractions, and we made some great memories.

I have stayed at a number of the Marriott properties near the SAT airport and have concluded this hotel is the best! The staff is awesome. They make you feel welcome the moment you check in. They will assist you to the best of their ability with any of your requests. Even if they can't solve an issue, they figure out a work around. Every interaction is a positive one with the team at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful. Newly renovated with very comfortable beds, lots of desk space to work and brightly lit bathrooms. Shower is refreshing. You'll get a great night's sleep! Their "Mixers" are fun. They provide a nice atmosphere with a good selection for almost any taste. This place doesn't care what happens on their property and the rooms need some work. I stay here ofter for work and will move over to the town place because it's much better service. The gate for parking wasn't working well on my trip, as I was trying to enter one day there was a back up and it looked like the hotel shuttle was trying to get up to go in, as I did the gate closed on my vehicle and scratched it. I turned in a report, it's now been a month and no one has reached out. I am a titanium member with bonvoy, I was hoping that might help with something but I guess not. I'd go over to town place if you're looking in the area.
