Homewood Suites by Hilton Viera Melbourne

We lived in Viera when this hotel was being built - its still brand new as of my post. The vinyl tiles on the floor are peeling up - it's distracting to say the least, but they do stick to your shoes. I've let the front desk know my shower gel was out and to make sure housekeeping refills it - it's still empty and I told them two days ago. The room is clean and for the most part, the staff is friendly. Great breakfast. Rooms are very spacious. Kitchen is stocked with cups, plates, bowls, utensils.

The room was disgusting. All of the flooring was peeling up and there was trash and food all over the ground in the room. The staff said that they were sold out and probably skipped over cleaning the room before check in. We stayed in December and thought it was great, but clearly has gone downhill quickly. At $400+ per night the hotel should be clean. Would not recommend staying here again, there are too many close options that are cheaper.

We stayed for one night prior to our cruise. Service was great, and they did let us check in a bit early. The location was good, walking distance to restaurants and a CVS pharmacy. There was a mall nearby as well. However, my husband saw and killed a cockroach that was hiding under our bed! This was terrifying for me. Also, the tiles on the floors are peeling. Although the rooms look beautiful and spacious, it definitely means that they have a lot of work to do.

Absolutely beautiful brand new hotel that is very chic and modern. Lobby and breakfast areas are spot on contemporary. Rooms are gorgeous with all modern furnishings and oversized windows. Easy access to restaurants and Publix grocery store. Best of all was Jonathan at the front desk. He was incredible, so helpful and professional! You would easily think he was trained or working at a Ritz Carlton or Waldorf Astoria. First class in every thing he does! I recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to the area. Absolutely great experience!

We liked everything about the hotel. Except we were give the worst bedroom. Unacceptable. The amenities, the food, and the service were excellent. But the photos show the mistreatment of guests. My husband tripped and we had to deal with taped floor vinyls. Unacceptable. Make sure you ask them to give you a decent room.
