Residence Inn by Marriott Marina del Rey

Great location! The hotel is located right on the marina and we had perfect sunrise views. The breakfast was delicious. Service was okay, nothing exceptional but not bad either. We stayed for one night and walked to Venice beach in the morning (a one mile walk). We didn’t have a chance to paddle board or bike around but we would have if we stayed for longer. The rooms had the essentials but felt a little bit dated. They all closed the breakfast down 15 minutes before we were told, so when I went to get some coffee they had already finished up. A little disappointed by that.

Good location. View from hotel is great. Do note there is a destination fee of USD10 per accomodation per night. This is excluded from the hotel accommodation which have to be paid.

I stayed here 35 days while my apartment was under construction. Facility is clean and well kept. Breakfast was convenient and above average. Staff is helpful and friendly. Veronica Hill in sales was particularly patient with me as I navigated through hotel charges. Brizos has a great Happy Hour! Highly recommend!

Due to issues at my home, I stayed here for an extended period of time and want to commend the staff on their friendliness and service. Every staff member greeted with a smile. I had some minor quibbles with the room (shower water pressure and bed pillows) but this facility provided a very nice place to stay when I needed it.

Upon arrival (albeit late due to business travel, which is not uncommon or unexpected in this context), I was met with an unwelcoming front desk staff who informed me that the hotel was “100% booked” — and therefore my reserved room was no longer available. This response was not only illogical but was also delivered with an unprofessional tone that bordered on accusatory, implying that my late arrival was the cause of the issue.
