I'm actually pretty happy with this place - they moved the room I checked into in the app because i noticed it didn't have a balcony, and the room i got was perfect. Good sized room for the price and nice bathrooms, although bot huge. Large balcony. Kind of a weird hotel design - to get to my room you had to go out and back in hotel on the second floor, which requires a lot of key card use. But the seaside access is unmatched, and the beachside restaurant in the hitel is delicious if slightly expensive. Great sunset view from the bar. The loss of star is the parking - valt only, 52 a night. There is a ton of parking lot space, yet they charge an obscene price and valet only. We recently stayed at the Jamaica Bay Inn in Marina del Rey with a group of 50 ice hockey fans, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would come back in a heartbeat! Why we loved it: Top-Tier Service: The breakfast every morning was delicious, and the waitstaff were incredibly attentive, even with a group as large as ours. The Best Barkeeper: A huge shoutout to the bartender who went above and beyond! He even stayed open late just for us to make sure we were well taken care of. Don't worry—we made sure his tip jar was very well fed! 😜 Clean & Comfortable: The rooms were spotless and provided the perfect retreat after a long day of hockey and sightseeing. If I could give this place ten stars, I would! We changed hotels sort of at the last minute because they had the most lenient cancellation policy and we were dealing with the federal shutdown (i.e. airline going to get us there?). Christina at the front desk was amazing and professional. But Mauro (?) in the bar/restaurant was head of the class! Great service and conversation. And kudos to whomever in the kitchen made the homemade bleu cheese dressing to go with my awesome wings. Our room was so comfortable and large that I believe I could actually live in it. Newly updated and so clean. We stayed here Thanksgiving weekend. It is a quiet, cozy, boutique hotel overlooking the marina and Mothers beach. It is centrally located and just a short walk down Washington Street to Venice Beach. From there you can walk the beach boardwalk all the way to Santa Monica beach/pier. The restaurant offers a nice relaxing patio overlooking the beach and the food was excellent. Our large room (458) had no balcony but an abundance of windows with amazing views. There is a small gym and the pool and jacuzzi tub seemed adequate, however it was a bit cold and we didn’t use those amenities. The hotel was well maintained. I spent a week here and it was fabulous from the beginning to the end. It’s recently redone and kept extremely clean and fresh. It was close to everywhere I needed to be, and having the bike rental right there at the front door was incredible – – I rented for an hour or two every morning and it was exhilarating. I loved the bar and restaurant which was really a fun place to hang out as well as having a huge varied menu. I met many locals who knew the restaurant was great because they also eat here (You’ve got the Hilton benefits, but this is not a Hilton restaurant) I will stay here anytime I come to Los Angeles!
