Residence Inn by Marriott Los Angeles Torrance/Redondo Beach

Large spacious rooms ruined by staff who would not stop knocking at our door on check out day. I have never been treated so poorly as a world traveler with Ambassador status in my life. My husband and I paid for late check out upon booking. On our last day staying here and we were interrupted not once, not twice… but FOUR times, despite paying for late check out. The first knock was well before check out time, waking us up during our hard earned getaway. If the goal from management is to make your guests feel like unwelcome intruders, you have certainly achieved that. There is truly no explanation or justification for treating your guests so poorly. As a former Marriott employee, I can say this is unacceptable in every regard. Do better and stop chasing out your paying guests. Unbelie

For the price, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The service, the room, and the overall experience were far beyond what I anticipated. The parking was easy to access, and both the lot and walkways were well lit, which added an extra layer of comfort and security. The entire property was spotless and well maintained. My room was spacious and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable — definitely a step above what you’d expect at this price point. What really made this stay stand out was the outstanding service. Enzo at the front desk was exceptional. He made check-in smooth and welcoming, and his genuine kindness and professionalism left a lasting impression. The service was so impressive, it felt like I was staying at a 5-star resort. This hotel is conveniently located near the beautiful beach areas of Redondo and Manhattan Beach. The parking was inside the gates. There are many good places to eat within a mile or two. Our room was clean and free of odor. The bathroom was small but clean and had all the amenities. The queen-size bed was comfortable. The kitchen area was furnished with the needed utensils. The AC unit was outside and near the window but was noisy at times. The place was fairly quiet. The breakfast was wonderful. Many fresh and hot foods such as scrambled eggs, sausage, crispy hash browns, and soft pancakes. The reason for not giving a five rating was for the misleading service and the advertised parking fee. Torrance is a very nice neighbourhood. The hotel had everything nearby, good restaurants, mall, and supermarkets. The kitchen has pretty much everything. The coin laundry is handy.

I have been a long time user of Marriott properties (Bonvoy member) when in need of a hotel, and this Residence Inn location is as reasonable in comfort and cleanliness to what I have come to expect, however; they do have a breakfast that was better than most. |With that said, this note is specifically for a front desk operative named Enzo Torres. For a variety of reasons I had been a handful for Mr. Torres, and what I got in exchange was a smile, and an extra effort to insure my wife and I were happy. This man is a credit to the Marriott family, and is without a doubt the primary reason why I will always choose this RI location anytime I am in the Torrance area. ||Matt Rose |Las Vegas, NV.
