Residence Inn by Marriott Jekyll Island

Wow! We highly recommend staying at the Spectacular Residence inn on the beautiful Jekyll island! Aarya greeted us with a big smile and was so humble and kind. He went above and beyond with his customer service and hospitality. We travel all over and stay at over 50 hotels a year with the wonderful Marriott and Love being Bon Voy members. Looking forward to coming back and hopefully seeing Aarya again while we stay at the Amazing Residence/Courtyard! The hotel is extremely clean, pool and hot tub are wonderful and clean! Fireplace and outside games are such a treat and the breakfast is delicious! Thanks for everything. All of the staff was welcoming and so helpful.

Our stay at Marriott Jekyll Island was absolutely amazing. We stayed during the off-season, which made the pricing more approachable, but even knowing it can be pricier during peak season—I can confidently say the cost is fully justified. The breakfast was phenomenal, with an excellent selection and quality that exceeded expectations. The Starbucks in the lobby quickly became a frequent stop for us, and the lobby restaurant served top-notch food as well—everything we tried was fantastic. We stayed on the bottom floor with an oceanfront balcony, and it could not have been more perfect. We spent 2 nights here to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We were upgraded to a large oceanfront corner room with a big balcony. The room was large, clean and well furnished. Everyone we encountered were friendly and helpful including the shuttle drivers who took us on golf carts to several locations on the island, and the buffet breakfast attendant. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good. Beach access is easy. We will stay here again.

Location, location, location! Beach front in Jekyll Island is amazingly beautiful. The sunrise from the ocean front room is fabulous, the sun is warm no matter the outside temp you can sunbathe on your balcony! Hotel is well kept, overall a great facility. Will definitely be back.

We had the BEST stay! We were with a group conference and the staff could not have been more amazing. Ari was so helpful and came to our rescue multiple times. They answered all our questions and our room was very nice and clean and the cleaning staff was very respectful of our items while we were out of the room. The bikes were super convenient for getting around to dinner and it was so nice to not have to worry about beach towels. The bistro in the lobby serving Starbucks was a very nice perk as well. They have a $30 resort fee but you can spend it at the bar/ bistro/ restaurant. We will definitely be back!
