Residence Inn by Marriott Greensboro Airport

Stayed one night on the way to Surfside Beach SC in one of the 2 bedroom suites. Very comfy room, beds, pillows. Breakfast in the morning had lots of yummy selections… my favorite was biscuits and gravy. Brian at the front desk was so warm and friendly at check-in and called shortly after we got up our room to make sure it was to our liking. The breakfast room attendant the morning of 1/17 was so friendly also; chatting with all guests and making sure we were getting whatever we wanted. She answered questions about ingredients in items and was letting longer term guests know what hot items would be available in the upcoming days. |I would highly recommend this hotel

Ultimately this hotel and location has great potential. The location and the staff are great. However the room we checked into was the worst room I have encountered in my stays with Marriott. The furniture and lamps were falling apart. The toilet leaked the whole stay and there were stink bugs present in our room the entire stay. While the location did offer to move our room and ultimately cover all our room charges, I am still disappointed this room was ever available to be occupied in its condition. The lobby and indoor pool area have clearly been updated recently. My hope is they continue to refurbish the rooms or we will not be back to this location.

Positive: The location Negative: I wanted a walk in shower and I didn’t get it. The bed we slept in had a big dip in the middle and it made it hard to get out of the bed. They put us at the end of the hallway far away from the elevator and I walk with a cane.

We had such a lovely one night stay. The breakfast was great - especially loved the gluten free muffins! The pool was perfectly warmed and we swam in Dec with was great to unwind after a long drive. The staff was super nice and friendly!

After staying here for a night, I am shocked to see how low the overall scores are. I am very critical of hotels (see my other reviews), but I was very pleased with this Residence Inn. ||We arrived late, 1 AM on a Friday Morning. The clerk at the front desk was exceptional. It was the best check in experience that I have had at a US hotel in years. He was prepared, professional, and welcoming. Could not have been better. ||The room was spacious and comfortable. Very clean. The bedding was modern and comfortable and we got a great nights sleep. We were in a 1 bedroom unit.||The bathroom was large enough, with average quality towels, good water pressure and hot water available quickly. ||We were only there one night, so did not take advantage of facilities like the pool or gym, but for all t
