Residence Inn by Marriott Denver Southwest/Lakewood

We stayed for one night while traveling through Denver. The front desk area was cluttered with boxes and was very unwelcoming. Matt at the front desk was very helpful. The courtyard was a mess. The cushions on the furniture were filthy. None of the heaters worked. Our room was just okay. The bed was less than comfortable. A little paint would go a long way in improving the appearance of this property.

We booked our stay several months ago to attend a concert at Red Rocks (The Head and The Heart.) We had researched a few hotels that were as close to Red Rocks as possible within our price range. We found this Residence Inn that was within 20 minutes or less from RR. When we pulled up, the front main entrance was very welcoming and inviting. We were happy to browse the main lobby areas while waiting to check in. Everything looked great from the lobby/dining area for breakfast, the gym, pool and outdoor seating area with a gas grill. Our room was on the first floor a trek from the main lobby, but it was nice being close to the parking lot and it was nice being able to access our room from the exit door near the lot. Positive: I really like the location. I was only a few minutes drive from most places I wanted to visit. The staff was great too! Staff checked me in and was so sweet and kind! Negative: This is very nitpicking, but if I had to point one thing I didn’t like, it would have to be the plastic utensils provided for breakfast. Not only disposable is such a waste, but also the quality of the ones they have were awful. They were all bent!

Absolutely wonderful stay! I didn't know this type of accommodations existed at such reasonable rates. We had a suite with 2 bedrooms, a living room and fully equipped kitchen. The complimentary hot breakfast was very tasty and the lovely lady working it was so friendly. Marie at the front desk was amazing and so accommodating. I will stay here from now on when I'm in the area. My whole family LOVED it here!!!

Residence Inn by Marriott Lakewood, CO What a mess. After so many great stays at different Marriott’s, I was finally out of luck. Which is a bummer, because I have family in the area and my family plans to visit a few times a year. Should have paid heed to the first red flag when I saw the damaged vent in the hallway on my way to my room. Carpet beetle larvae under my pillow the first night in room 328. I was told that it would be professionally cleaned before it was rented again. I saw a do not disturb tag on the door 2 days later. A professional cleaning service that knocks out a 2 room suite on the day before Thanksgiving? No turndown service x2. Had to get clean sheets & towels twice. take care of my own trash. WiFi was absolute garbage. It snowed and they didn’t lay down salt at
