Comfort Suites Lakewood - Denver

Two of the staff members were nice, but they seemed embarrassed about how rude the manager was. I had a toddler get food poisoning on my trip, and I did my best to keep the room clean. But there’s only so much you can do with a toddler. The manager refused to give us a new blanket and said that we’ve already had plenty of towels and that we can buy a blanket at Walmart. We waited for her to end her shift and the nice staff member obviously got us a blanket. Also, they have a sign on the mirror saying that if you want your room clean during your trip, you just have to ask them before 11 AM. Obviously I did that since I don’t travel with cleaning supplies, and they refused. EDIT: The reply stated that you could not immediately clean the room. I let the staff know about the situation at 6A

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. But the best thing about our stay was that the pool was actually warm enough to swim in and enjoy!! Our grand kids joined us in the pool 3 times while we were there. We all loved it! They keep the pool at 90 degrees, which I do appreciate because many hotels have pools but the water is too cold to even get in! What’s the point of that?! We love the hotel, it’s close to restaurants and the freeway, and our daughter’s house. It’s our “go-to hotel” while in Denver.

I'm not sure if something transformative has happened at the Comfort Suites Lakewood over the last year (reading previous reviews from 2024), because my experience was fantastic! This is a GREAT mid-price option for families and solo business travelers, and everything was spotless. The customer service was also outstanding, with a special shoutout to Ferry, who made my 5 day stay so pleasant and welcoming! He really was so kind! The pool area was clean and warm and I had no complaints about anything. ||If you're looking for bougie or boutique, this is not that hotel. If you're looking for comfort, a great clean suite, and very positive customer service for a really great price, I definitely recommend them. My room was very clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient to the hospital I was driving to daily. Ferry in reception was extremely kind and helpful and made my stay as easy as possible.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and have always had a great experience in the past. Unfortunately, this visit was very different — it seems the hotel is now under new management, and the quality has declined. The only positive experience we had was with the gentleman who worked the front desk in the mornings and prepared breakfast. He was polite, friendly, and helpful. However, the rest of our stay was disappointing. When we checked in, we immediately noticed the bathroom sink was clogged, and despite mentioning it, no one ever came to fix it during our three-night stay. When we asked the evening staff member for extra pillows, we were told, “You have enough for your reservation.” The elevator stopped and shut off while we were in it — with our children — leaving us stuck for mo
