From our arrival to departure, everyone we encountered was pleasant and happy to meet any request. Ahmad was so caring when bringing my daughter to the hotel after her discharge from the hospital. Monique and Amanda helped at every turn. The breakfast staff fed us so well every morning. The housekeeping crew kept things spotless and our towels fresh. The hotel is remarkably well insulated from sound transfer. Even the HVAC was quiet and comfortable (unusual for a large building). I’m even giving the hotel credit for the lovely weather and the spectacular moonrise from our large window. |I should add that the room itself was an attractive and functional space. This hotel stay was horrible, highlighted by a 10-minute wait for rude service and a non-functional TV. The worst part was waking up at 1:30 am in room 829 to find bedbugs (photos attached). Despite reporting this and the broken amenities, staff did nothing, nor did they follow up. Do not stay here. Key Issues: Service: Welcoming, slow, and dismissive staff. Room 829: Confirmed bedbug infestation. Amenities: Broken TV/remote. Management: No follow-up after reporting issues.

Positive: The staff, I wish I had wrote down their names. It was the young lady who check me in & happened to be there to check me out, the night manager the 1st night we were there, the front desk guy working with him that night, and the maintenance guy all great! Negative: Only thing I thought could use some improvement was the room itself. When you walk in the hotel, it's so beautiful and looks to be well maintained but my room look as tho they put some wallpaper up to make it look renovated but it needed more than that.

This is my second or third time staying here, every time the service has been phenomenal. The front desk staff is/was friendly and worked with me to adjust my room to my needs. The rooms are clean. The other areas are clean and nice overall. The lobby is pleasant and relaxing. The continental breakfast is… a continental breakfast. I knocked a star for two reasons: one, the location is a bit abnormal but isn’t bad. It’s good if you’re here for a few very specific reasons - and if you’re looking at these reviews you already know those reasons. Two, the parking is a private garage but is 22.50 a night, which is obscene for not being downtown.

Stayed here for closeness to the Cleveland clinic due to an emergency. Front desk team was helpful at first but then failed to notify housekeepers of second night stay. Despite calling TWICE once during the night and early morning. Housekeeping came super early before checkout, threw away all food and drinks bought at the market kiosk they have. Not even an apology. Just oh, they already cleaned the room when at the desk at 1pm to renew keys for second stay. Those snacks and drinks are marked way up and cost as much as the room. Didn’t offer to replace or anything.
