Residence Inn by Marriott Albany Clifton Park

We had a great stay in this hotel. It is clean, the rooms are huge and clean, the pool/jacuzzi was relaxing and the staff was very friendly and answered all of our requests. The hotel was apparently short staffed because of the storm, but we never felt it. The breakfast was really good and complete for that kind of hotel, we were honestly impressed. We had different sides every days. And there are enough tables in the main lobby to sit a lot of people, even groups. We did not see the exterior perks as we are in the middle of winter, and in the middle of a major storm, but they seems nice. The only thing that was a bit spotty was the internet/wifi. We were booked at another hotel and then saw recent reviews about cleanliness. We were able to switch to this hotel and we LOVED it. The King Studio was very large with a full kitchen and comfortable couch. The whole property was very clean. The lobby was set up nicely and we enjoyed playing board games there in the evening. The outside patio with the fire pit was a lovely touch. And to top it off the free breakfast was a plus, plus. We will be going back

We had an amazing stay. Everything was great from the room, a 2bdrm, 2 bathroom suite with fully stocked kitchen to the amenities, pool, hot tub, basketball court and outdoor seating area with a firepit. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. They are eager to please! We had one issue during our stay (a flooded bathroom) but it was in the process of being taken care of before I was even done explaining! Every need we had was met basically without even asking. I picked this hotel because of the amenities and the great reviews. The only thing that could've improved our stay would've been a 24hr pool, hot tub and fire pit! My 1-night stay was absolutely magnificent! The room, accommodations & staff are top-notch! As a hospitality professional, there was not ONE thing to complain about. The breakfast was phenomenal and everything I needed was provided with a pleasure. I will definitely stay again when I’m in town!

I decided to switch from Courtyard to Residence Inn as I saw the rave reviews and I am completely happy about this decision! The room is extremely spacious with full kitchen, office desk and living room. Bed is amazingly comfortable with nice firm pillows. As a light sleeper I had a very relaxing night of sound sleep. The surroundings are quiet, though few reviews mention about road traffic and likely a room close to a nearby bar; fortunately my room sits in the area without these hassles. Breakfast is just beyond expectations with good variety of everything. There are healthy options such as cooked oatmeal and non-sugar yogurt Danone, and I like how they cook the scrambled eggs less greasy and not salty.
