La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clifton Park/Saratoga Area

Very nice new hotel. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very adequate but not exceptional. The pool/hot tub area was nice but small. Adjoining restrooms were available which is a plus. The hot tub was overfilled with water (too deep) and very foamy. When the towels ran out, a quick call to the desk resulted in very prompt refill. Many available restaurants within walking distance (take care of traffic). Primavera Pizza across the street was very good.

It can be tough finding a hotel kept in good condition at a reasonable price that accepts pets without a ridiculous fee. We tried this place which is a little further north in the Albany area, but right on the route between Maine and points west when driving the NH/VT route instead of fighting the ridiculous traffic and Boston. The route was way better and ten minutes longer. Compared to a lot of the run-down chain hotels closer to 90, this place was great and has a $25 pet fee which is a third of most of the other places. Checking in, we noticed that it was well maintained and our room was a nice surprise. Large, clean and quiet. Also, the front desk staffer recommended the Rust Nail for dinner and honestly, it was so good that I think between this hotel and that dinner option, this

This hotel was extremely clean and check in was a breeze. The bed was also insanely comfortable with great pillows and the AC was functional and quiet. If I had a longer stay in the area, I'd definitely do it here! In the hallways I could hear people in their rooms at night but as soon as I got into my room I couldn't hear them at all, it was super quiet and peaceful - but I will warn that when housekeeping is vacuuming neighboring rooms in the morning its kind of loud, but for how immaculate the rooms are I'm not complaining! Great stay, great price, excellent location next to dunkin and lots of amenities.

Positive: Convenience to the area i was visiting. Negative: Cleaning staff was not great. I had Do not disturb on the door they knocked anyway. Different day I asked them to come back later, they didn't. When they cleaned they didn't change the beds even though it was our 4th night there. It was minor annoyance.

My go-to place when visiting family in the area. I really appreciate the fresh prepared breakfast options. Front desk staff were always smiling and helpful. Housekeeping really good too. Despite getting 9 inches of snow overnight, the parking lot was cleared by the morning.
