Homewood Suites by Hilton Clifton Park

I stayed at this hotel for a total of 4 nights (Jan 1–3 and Jan 4–6). The staff is polite and the service is good. I paid for my stay through the Hilton app (including tax). However, the hotel required an additional deposit at check-in and said it would be refunded after checkout. Unfortunately, I still have not received my deposit back for any of the 4 nights. What is frustrating is the explanation I received: they told me it could take up to 1 month to return to my bank, but when I contacted my bank they said deposits usually take 3–5 business days maximum. Also, I noticed the tax/charges on the Hilton app and the tax shown on the hotel receipt were different, which is confusing and not transparent. My husband and I ALWAYS love staying here, we love being able to travel with our animals and its a great location. BUT This morning while my husband and I were taking trips with our stuff to the car we came back and one of the housekeeping ladies was in our room moving all of our stuff to the door that we had left for our next trip down to the car. We weren't thrilled as it was only 10am we had another 2 hours in our room if we wanted. Very unsatisfied with that staff unfortunately I was to worried about my cat possibly getting out to catch her name.

My wife, our two grandchildren (10 and 8), and I had a wonderful week at the Homewood Suites in Clifton Park, NY. From the moment we arrived (and every day after), the friendly front desk manager, CJ, greeted us with a warm smile and asked how our day was going. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen including a full-size refrigerator, microwave, two-burner cooktop, and dishwasher. The daily breakfast buffet had a great selection of typical breakfast items like waffles, tortillas, scrambled eggs, fruit, and pastries. There was plenty of milk, juice flavors, and coffee to choose from. Every Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, there’s a complimentary cookout on the patio. Everyone was so sweet to me and my family during our stay. Karen and Wendy from housekeeping are absolutely amazing! The front desk team Kristen, Ashley, Olivia, Donna, and Jay are total gems. And let’s not forget CJ, who showed us so much love and care. Robin in the kitchen is also a true sweetheart. Thank you all for making our stay feel warm, comfortable, and welcoming❤️
