Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City Hotel

We stayed here last night, and maybe the room was a bit dated, and sure some extra hooks and towel rods in the bathroom in 203 would have been nice, but this was a very enjoyable visit for me and my partner. Quiet halls, easy access to the elevator, and convenience snacks in the lobby. Excellent breakfast buffet with many choices, both sweet and savory. The chef knows what's up. The staff went above and beyond for us and I won't ever forget their kindness. It was truly a pleasure to stay and it is definitely where we're staying next time in town. PS. I'm super covetous of all the fantastic chairs in the lobby. What style!

I travel a ton for work I carry a Titanium status with marriot. Overall my stay was average. The staff was always great, the snack selection was great. The exterior of the property was fantastic. The room is where they lost me. No desk to work, TV did not have Netflix, and the bed was horrible. So bad that I will have to go see my chiropractor when I get home. And the noise levels terrible. You can hear everything outside of your room. Room Cleanliness - 4 Bed Comfort - 1 Staff - 5 (Only reason they have 3 stars and not 2) Amenities - NA (Did not use any of them) Location - 4 Food and Beverage quality - NA Noise Levels - 2 - You can hear everything your neighbor is doing... Literally everything...

To be honest, the hotel is OK. The rooms are clean and it's another awkwardly decorated midtier hotel that feels like it's primarily for business travelers.||Let's start out with the positives. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bedding is comfortable and appears to be newer and in good condition. The lobby and hallways are kept clean as well, the hotel has been kept up-to-date. The service at the breakfast buffet was outstanding, our server was extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful. As was the gentleman at the front desk when we checked in.||We ate breakfast at the buffet and it was average. Positive: The first floor is nice and I liked the self parking. Negative: They didn’t have ice machines on my floor and another floor I checked out looking for an ice machine. This hotel is little run down. It’s nice but definitely not a 4-star hotel. I’d say it’s more of a 3 star.

This is what you get: I stayed three nights during January. The total cost was $405 for the room and a surprising $199 in fees and taxes. I don't know what the fees were for. As noted by others, the staff are very nice. The public rooms are nice elegant, and the fitness room is adequately equipped. I stayed three nights in a room with two double beds. Between the beds was one lamp, and there was a floor lamp in the corner. and of course a ceiling lamp in the entrance. So it was not well lit. But the outside wall was glass, with a curtain, so the room was well lit during the daytime. The room had a very sturdy computer table, suitable for laptops, and an appropriate chair.
