A manager must not work here because we've been trying to talk to the manager for about a week. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. From beginning to end, this hotel had nothing but problems. 1. valet was $65 a night...nobody helped us with our bags and took them 30+ minutes to get our car every request. (The hotel next door had way better service for their guests). 2. the lock to our hotel room wasn't charged so we had to get let in by a technician. 3. our sink didn't drain. 4. The shower didn't have hot water. So we were given another room down the hall. The new room was no better. 5. The door didn't shut all the way 6. The nightstand light flickered. 7. The toilet started leaking water. 8. Then finally, we found out our fridge didn't work so all of the food we were plann
I know it's urban, but this left a lot of room for improvement. Location was fine and easy to get to, lots of local sights to see. The gym smelled horrible, the room itself was minimal without even a comforter on the bed in November (we had to request one at the front desk).|Dining was not an option after finding mice in the bar area in the AM. Thankfully the local area has many an option for eating, and a 10 minute walk in any direction will yield you many good dining options.
After staying at the hotel for five days, I accidentally left two scarves and a purse in the closet when I checked out. The items were not expensive, but they had strong sentimental value because they were gifts. I called the next day to report what happened, but it took four separate calls before I was finally able to speak with someone. When I did, they simply told me to check a website, which ended up being a complete waste of time. Nothing was ever resolved. For a hotel with the reputation and price point of this one, I expected a much more responsible and helpful response. My friend from the area even told me I might have better luck finding my items on Craigslist. That says a lot. I understand that forgetting the items was my mistake — I was rushing to get to the airport and didn’t
Positive: The front desk staff. I had an issue with the valet regarding the form of payment. It is an outside company so I had to pay on my smartphone. I spoke with the Valet Manater over the phone and hopefully he made the correction. Thanks. Negative: Please find the way to include the valet charge on the hotel charges. Thanks.
We stayed at the hotel and had to spend the day working in the lobby. We needed an area to work as a group and Joe went well out of his way to ensure we had a quiet space, coffee and everything we needed. We had not planned well but thankfully due to Joe's extraordinary efforts and hospitality we had a very productive and comfortable meeting. He was great!
