Relax Inn

Bottom line: motel was renovated somewhat recently, so the pictures looked worse than the rooms. Honestly, it was very clean, and although I brought my own pillow and comforter, the beds were fine. Seriously, for a 100 bucks, you could do worse. I was pleasantly surprised.

Hotel staff became VERY aggressive when informed I had a service animal. One male staff member kept getting closer as I was trying to enter my room and kept getting louder telling me they “don’t do ADA” which is highly illegal. ADA is the residing law for all public and private businesses in this country. When my bf went to speak to them they demanded proof via the paperwork stating the dog is a service animal from my Dr. we gave in and emailed it to them. They demanded 500$ at first then tried for 50$. When we threatened a lawyer, they backed off. We were forced to leave the hotel early due to the aggression of the staff. We did not get any money back, just threatened and “kicked out”.

No hot water and it 20 degrees outside! I can only take a hot shower around 5 am Leaky roofs when it rain the tvs don’t work

The place has really improved from last year till now! The remodeling of the rooms have been an awesome idea and a major improvement! The rates haven't jumped too much either. I give this place 4.5⭐ for a motel. Keep up the great work, Relax Inn.

Relax Inn – Comfortable and Convenient The Relax Inn in Hampton, VA is a solid choice if you’re looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a spacious bed, a decent work desk, and nice wall art that adds to the atmosphere. The bathroom is roomy with a nice marble countertop and a separate sink/toilet area. The location is great—right in the center of town—and the staff is consistently polite and helpful. For a budget motel it’s dependable and well-kept.
