Redrock Country Inn

Truly the definition of you get what you post for. Cheap is what I was aiming for, a place to sleep and shower. The rooms were in need of upkeep. I stayed in room 16 for a weekend. The good: the room has a working heater, there wasn't an odd smell, there was a tv, a micro wave and a mini fridge for use, the shower water heater up timely instead of taking a long while, no plumbing problems, complimentary shampoo and body soap. The bad: uncomfortable bed, the lamp shades were falling apart, only one available plug for charging devices, (unless you use the bathroom plug), the curtains were ripped so sunlight showed through at sunrise, and exposed electrical cords along the wall and ceiling. Positive: The staff was friendly and helpful. Sure, it is a basic motel but it had a cabin-like homey feel. Perfect location to visit Best Friend’s Animal Sanctuary. Negative: ""

Located in the center of Kanab was our stay for two nights. Close to Zion National Park the inn offered rooms with comfy beds, plenty of pillows and towels , good ac and a tv that picked up a good choice of channels. Microwave too and a really big shower. Very reasonably priced for our weekend visit to the area.

We were on a long road trip and trying to make miles. We got in late, and left early. The motel was a very reasonable price for the value mid-week. It was not luxurious, but simple, clean, and great value.

This is a $60/night hotel. The shower didn’t get fully hot but hot enough. The bathroom floor is either exposed concrete or a weird design decision. The sink is in the closet. There’s an odor that’s not bad but it’s not an air freshener. But it cost less than dinner, the beds are comfortable, and Kanab is a great little town. If I was staying a few days I may go somewhere else, but for one night passing through to Zion it’s worth five stars.
