Cave Lakes

This place ruined glamping for me because I’m not sure I could go anywhere else after this stay. I’m already trying to find a time to come back. I stayed in the Kiva suite, which was very private for a resort like this, yet still a quick walk to amenities. So many places to explore. Amazing, easy hikes for kids. The tent was so clean, the private cave was shaded and SO COOL during the August heat, and the bed was so comfortable. The only time we left the property was to go five minutes up the road to the sand caves hike (highly recommend especially for kids). Worth a trip just to stay here. The ranch was our destination and didn’t disappoint.

I have never been to the area or in Utah but this place was like winning the lottery. It’s centrally located but tucked enough into a side of mountains that made it feel easy to relax and unwind. The cabins have everything that you can think of and the camp site is absolutely gorgeous

We had two parties out west to visit two national parks and chose Cave Lakes for its convenient distance between the two parks. We stayed in the Stone House and Canvas Cabins. Can’t say enough about our stay, and by far must be the best Glamping stay around. Can’t imagine that any of the other resorts would compare. There was nothing better than being able to stay out in the remote wilderness of Cave Lakes after a long day of hiking, with the amenities of a bathroom and AC/Heat if needed, to make you feel comfortable for relaxation before your next excursion the next day. By luck the nights we stayed were on the new moon (no moon), the stargazing was beautiful both nights, and only made the stay that much more enjoyable.

This place was absolutely wonderful! Above and beyond our expectations. So many personal touches to make us feel right at home. The surroundings offer up amazing hikes and the town is a short drive away offering options for dinner or groceries. the fire pit at our cabin was dreamy. Everything was so clean and beautiful. The lake offered such a beautiful view. We truly didn't want to leave. We stayed in cabin 1, but I imagine even the tents were spectacular. They have thought of everything to make your stay just spectacular! We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the Kiva Suites tent at the beginning of April. What a cool experience it was. There are a few things that I think could make the experience better. First and foremost, it was dark when we got there. There is very little light to use inside the tent. There was a solar powered lantern that wasn't charged up, a rechargeable lantern that needed to be charged, and one lamp. My advice would be to ensure everything is charged up and ready for use. The solar powered lights leading up to the fire pit were not working either. Secondly, there were not enough outlets for charging phones and smart watches. We had to unplug things to charge up our phones. I suggest a power strip with more outlets. Third, there were no wash cloths. Overall, we'd stay again, but having these things would mak
