Red-Tail Hawk Loop

Space 68. No trees, barren spot. Very active loop with many dog people. It's designed more for RVs because there's not much space for a tent. Bathroom is great by campground standards. $50 a night.

Very nice spot with water and power. $50 a night. The camp host was quick to check to see if I needed anything. He gave us a map, hiking advice, and local advice. The first night we stayed, I was able to check in after hours and self pay at the campground kiosk. $50 Cash only.

We loved this campground at Dead Horse Ranch State Park. It was absolutely beautiful. Peaceful, quiet, and dark at night. The trails were great for some quick and easy hikes with our small kids. The playground was fun and the bathrooms were always clean. It allowed easy access to many parks and scenic drives.

We are at site 61. We have a 41’ 5th wheel and a second vehicle and we can get all of it on our site. The park is clean, and the staff are always cleaning and coming around. Beautiful views of the mountains and city.

Camp host was very nice. The restroom was clean and warm. Only if there weren't the people who were talking loud past midnight.
