Red Roof PLUS+ & Suites Chattanooga - Downtown

My wife and I needed a place to stay that was dog friendly. She knew that I was building points with Red Roof Inn and we decided to book this hotel Christmas night. She opted to get a room with a hot tub in it and the price was reasonable.||However, the room was a wreck. It looked like it hadn't been very well cleaned, the smoke detector was hanging from the wall and not mounted to it, the ceiling looked like it had suffered some damage, my wife said the sheets looked a bit yellow to her and the hot tub didn't even work. She went to the front desk and they got us another room as the hotel was far from being full. ||The second room was an improvement on the first yet there were still a lot of issues. I noticed that the LVT on the floor was coming up in some places like it hadn't been proper

Positive: I liked the room layout... Negative: Shower was wonky, left HOT water, right, tepid water, no median. Mini-fridge was a fridge, no freezer compartment, a couple of the can holders were broken...

In all honesty, all of these reviews are kind of crazy. Yes there are a couple downfalls to this hotel but I mean we bought top hotel and it was literally $80. What else could anybody expect? We had a great night. Beds were comfortable. Showers were warm. Rooms had towels. TV worked really I have no complaints. The guy at the counter was nice. All of the cameras were working as when you walked in the lobby there was a TV with all of them on the screen clear as day parking lot and hallways . Yes, the elevator didn't work but oh well. Walk up some steps It's only three stories...... I feel like these people had way too high of expectations for an $80 room. We've stayed worse! Definitely recommend.

Quiet hotel, very accommodating staff. I paid cash and was refunded $20 because I was accidentally over charged. Very honest and friendly staff. To be able to travel with a dog and only charged $100 for this quality hotel is a deal. Will definitely stay again next time.
