Hampton Inn Chattanooga West/Lookout Mountain

For context to this review; this is pointed solely at housekeeping. The desk clerk when I arrived at 11PM, Ryan, was amazing. He took care of my check-in promptly and professionally. The desk clerk upon check out was professional but rather unhelpful in regards to a solution. As I stated in the pretext, I arrived extremely late in the evening. I had been awake since midnight that morning, taken two flights, and driven 9 hours from Baton Rouge. My total time being awake at the time of my arrival was 23 hours. By the time my dinner arrived and I fell asleep in the room, it had been roughly 25.5 hours. I still had to drive an additional 11 hours to my final destination. Check out time is listed at noon (12PM) on the Hilton Honors App and on the room chart in the back of the door of the room.

One of our favorite hotels of all time! The staff was above and beyond and friendly in every way. I took off one stay on the room due to the pillows being too soft(ouch my neck!) The pool is extremely clean and beautiful. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay! Also, the breakfast was great with so many options but meat and meatless health options! Love love love!

Actually a 4.5 if gradations were allowed. Very nice hotel, wonderful view, great staff.||Although technically in Lookout Valley, it’s on a high ridge, along with a Marriott. Nice view, good landscaping to make you feel “above” the commercial district.||Good breakfast, better than the typical. Also nice treats at the front desk, for all guests, not just gold and diamond members. Hank at front desk genuinely cares about guests and goes out of his way to make the stay great.||Only complaint: Bathrooms seem to have been designed by a 6’5” man. Shampoo-conditioner-soap is mounted about 6’ high. Shelves with towels are above toilet, so high, with Kleenex on top shelf , again 6+ feet high. Sink is I set a good foot, which makes simple things like washing your hands difficult if you’re short.||I

Everything was nice, but the bedding on the bed wasn't big enough. It barely reached the ends of the mattress when we weren't laying in bed so we spent the nights pulling covers from each other. The pillows were too soft too. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. It was a nice bonus that the outdoor pool was still open in mid October. My daughter loved it.

Positive: The location was absolutely perfect. I was there with my 2 boys and felt safe the whole time. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The best part about it was the water slide - I’m so happy we spent a little extra to stay here because it was a hit! Negative: ""
