Red Roof PLUS+ Galveston - Beachfront

The best red roof I've ever stayed in. Our double bed room was HUGE!!! The beds were comfortable. Staff was very accommodating. We did have to ask for towels but they were given to us immediately. I'll definitely stay again if in town

This is an very good deal. You are getting what you pay for in terms of the rooms but you absolutely cannot beat the location for the price and friendly staff. The rooms are big and have everything you need and are clean There's washers and a drinks machine but you need cash. It's about a mile to pleasure pier and happens to be right across from a ramp to the beach which is the main reason I love this place bc they are pet friendly and my old girl cannot handle the stairs to the beach.

We decided to give this location a try with our pug Frank. Our stay was excellent! The front desk was very friendly and checked us in pronto. The room was cool and nice and at a very good price for being within a very short walking distance to the beach and Guidos/Nicks restaurant. We saw other guests with pets and everyone seemed happy. The grass around the hotel looked clean. We picked up after our pet. We only saw one instance where someone had not cleaned up after their pet. Since that was the case, we appreciated that someone probably cleans up even if guests don't. We now feel comfortable to take our pet again. It is great to have a pet friendly hotel we can book in the future! Thanks # 1198!!!

Positive: Location Negative: Front desk person was never there. We had no towels or tissue. The lights in the room didn't work very well and they sent a maintenance man to fix them. We had to stay while he worked on the lights. Thus shortened our adventure to Moody Gardens.

I lost something very valuable during my stay and the staff and manager went out of the way to help me search for it. I am so very thankful for this effort they showed. The location was great and they allowed parking for a week while my family went out on a 7 days cruise from the Port of Galveston. Thank you Red Roof Inn and Staff.
