Red Roof PLUS+ Columbus - Ohio State University OSU

I recently had stayed at this location a few months before it was like night and day. The room I had before felt small maybe due to having a double bed . This time around had a king size and was very spacious . The outlet next to my bed was very useful had to charge several of my personal electronics and was able to have extra outlets if needed. The main improvement was the use of the on demand option. I wasn't sure why I couldn't use the hbo option last time but this time was exceptional. I would recommend this establishment again as well. I would like to also add that there is a deposit if it is not already been said or added to the website .

Was traveling back home to Indiana from Niagara Falls and decided to do an overnight in Columbus Ohio. I found this Red Roof Inn to have far better rates than other hotels in the immediate area. Book the room online in my truck en route. Upon arrival the Front desk employee was extremely welcoming and got us checked in quickly. I can honestly say that on our eight day trip Abd staying in seven different hotels this Res Roof Inn room was the most modern and clean room. They must have just done a remodel on the property because even when looking for something in the room to be below standard I could not find fault. The ONLY complaint I can make and it was not the hotels fault, but being this is an outdoor entry property we had the folks staying in the room next to us outside at six a.m. smok

Positive: The front desk girl was very friendly & accommodating. We were given a 1st floor room where several smokers were hanging. Our TV or phone did not work. The front desk girl did not hesitate to give us another room on the other side of the building. Negative: Rooms were super small. SO many smokers lingering by entry doors of lobby & our room.

Just stayed at the Red Rood PLUS+ in Columbus, close to OSU, and I was really happy with it. The whole place was super clean, which is always a plus. But honestly, the beds were amazing, so soft and comfy, not one of those hard ones. It made for a really good night's sleep after a long day. Great value for a stay near campus, and the staff were friendly too. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a clean and comfy place to crash in Columbus.

I checked into this hotel on 3/3/26. I booked online and prepaid. Upon checking in, the front desk attendant informed me although I already prepaid, there is a fully refundable $50 security deposit. A couple days later, I received my "fully refunded" security deposit. I don't care about $3.24, I just wanted to bring attention to people to keep an eye on your security deposit because they are skimming/stealing at this location
