Red Roof PLUS+ Brooklyn - 3rd Ave

NO Parking. Upon arrival the front attendant had a sign up front saying be back in a few mintues but was on camera just sitting in the break room on his phone. No way of getting checked in for over 10 minutes after a 5+ hr drive while waiting in the lobby with 2 dogs. Very unprofessional. While checking in we were asked to pay cash for our dogs which at other red roof locations hasn't been the case, found it odd and thank goodness I had cash on me. In the morning I stopped at the desk to ask a question and the attendant was sleeping in a chair. Decided ill just ask when I head out in an hr instead and when I came back he was gone, just a sign saying will be back shortly was left. The rooms were okay. The door could use a seal around it to help with sound and keeping the hallway light out.

Good and affordable place to stay during Christmas time. Just 10 minutes walking to the subway station. The path between the hotel and the subway station was safe and a lot of traffic. The room was clean, fresh. Well taken care. Comfortable bed and pillows. Soap, shampoo-conditioner and lotion was provided. Although it's near a main avenue, the street noise isn't a problem. But the walls of the rooms are quite thin. I could hear the neighbor complaining. A good, complete, and balanced breakfast. Good WiFi service. The employees were attentive and helpful.

This bathroom is advertised as ADA-compliant roll-in accessible. It’s not even close. They were charging more for this double than a queen and claiming it was disability access. Also my bed shakes anytime anyone closes a doo, the Wi-Fi connection is crap and I had to check out early because I was having an allergic reaction to something in the room, possibly all the dust under bed|SHOWER - Advertised as Roll-In:|• (§608.2.1) - Roll-in MUST have no curb or max 1/2” beveled. I sent a message to the hotel informing them that I would not be able to check in on December 26th, the date of my reservation, due to a flight cancellation caused by a heavy snowstorm. I never received a response from the hotel. Because of this, I was only able to check into the hotel on the 27th. I tried to resolve the situation through Hotels.com, which informed me that they had contacted the hotel and that the problem was resolved. However, upon arriving at the hotel and explaining the entire situation, I was informed that the hotel had not received any contact from the platform, demonstrating complete disorganization and lack of communication.
