Red Roof Inn Tupelo

Pleasantly surprised with our stay here. Got a late start leaving Kentucky for a Thanksgiving trip to Alabama so decided to book a room here as it is our halfway point. Upon arrival the clerk at the desk was extremely cordial and helpful and check in took about 5 minutes or less. Made it to the room and it was very clean and comfortable. Did a bed bug check before unpacking and saw NO signs of bed bugs on the mattress. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is very pet friendly also. I saw no signs of any loitering in the parking lot or anything else that was mentioned in a couple of the other reviews I read and we arrived late at night. They had waffles and bagels etc. for breakfast which was great. Upon checkout was greeted by another super friendly staff member. Gre

The room was decent and the bed was comfortable as well. Had no problems with the WIFI signal. Bath water was hot and worked well. No major disruptions or noise which is ALWAYS a good thing. The parking lot had plenty of spaces outside. RED ROOF INN did have a basic breakfast, but I already ate. I would stay here again. It is right next to a COMFORT INN which is a GOOD option as well.

Clean room, nice shower. Hair dryer didn't work, but that was a minor inconvenience. Check-in experience was unpleasant, the lady at the desk was rude, even a good evening was answered by a curt "yes?" Perhaps the management should give a crash course on how to be pleasant and courteous before hiring them, after all it is a hospitality industry.

This is a pretty ok motel. It's right off the highway in a very convenient location. Check in and out is fast and smooth. The atmosphere is loud all through the night with people coming and going. The walls are thin so you hear everything. The room was very clean, but the beds are extremely firm. The continental breakfast was standard, with waffles, yogurt, bagels, coffee and juice.
