Red Roof Inn & Suites Clinton, TN

Finally a room that is not a disaster or just dirty. This one was very clean and laid out well. The only issue was the shower head is not for tall people. They never are. I guess my problem, not anyone else's!

Close this place down. We paid more for this room than in a Red Roof in Corbin, KY. Our couch was so old & dirty I would not put my purse on it. I wondered when the blanket on the bed was last laundered. There was no ice & the ice machine looked like it was made in 1950, was turned off with no sign on it to instruct how to get ice. An office chair was sitting outside a room. Other fixtures & furniture were stored next to a stairwell. There was only decaf coffee in the room & the staffer said they had not had regular coffee packets in a week. For this place to be so close to Knoxville & other better hotel chains, this is the last Red Roof we will stay in for a cheap overnight stop on a long road trip.

Rooms are not clean! Mold and mildew behind bed on the floor and walls and on mattresses. Sheets were dirty and stained. Missing blanket. Floor was so dirty it made our feet dirty. Musty mildew smell in room. We woke up with allergy symptoms that luckily went away after we left the hotel. The lady at the desk was very nice, polite, and helpful, even though she was stressed as we were not the only people who had to make complaints about the condition of the beds and room. They only gave us 10 dollars off our room even though we had to mop our own floor and change our own sheets. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Room was very clean. Staff was very polite, friendly & wanted to make sure needs was met.
