My husband and I booked a room here for three nights so that we could attend a Maritime festival in town with our two small dogs. The location was ideal for us, as we had eateries and grocery stores nearby and a lighted sidewalk for dogwalks. Our room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. However, the refrigerator lacked temperature controls and froze our drinks and yogurts. Also, the hair dryer didn't work because its plug was broken, and the toilet had flushing issues. The staff was wonderful and helped compensate for the issues with the room. This hotel just needs some simple upgrades to move it up.to a 4-star level.

Positive: The staff at the front desk was very nice and knew what they were doing. Negative: I checked out a day early because of the smell in my room. The smell was a combination of dead body and cigarette smoke. Absolutely rancid. I've never stayed in a more disgusting hotel in my life. I cancelled my June stay as well.

I really appreciate the pet friendly policy and the location is in a quiet development close to stores. Room is very big w microwave and coffee maker. Everything is clean and fresh. This hotel is in need of upgrading and renovation—lights should have one switch that shut off when you leave (usually card is placed in an entry unit to turn lights on); my room lock didn’t work because battery went dead! Room should have knives forks spoons; no cups for microwave heating (plastic and styrofoam)—why not add a little class w ceramic coffee cups or have a Starbucks brand coffee? Bottom line—staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful—make their job easier w a few upgrades.

I checked in and have never felt less welcome in a hotel. The lobby space was dingy and sad. Then the hallway on the third floor leading to my room stank of cigarettes and looked about as creepy as the shining, and it was afternoon. The room itself was pitch black when I entered, the blackout curtains drawn, and even with the front door light on it was so dark that I bumped into a coffee table I couldn't see, and finally reached the window to let in some light. The room also smelled of cigarettes, and there was a hair on the pillow. None of this would have mattered to me at $94 a night, but then at 3am some jerks a few rooms away got home from the bars I guess, and I was subjected to pumping bass from that time until 8:45 am, when my 4th call to the front desk finally put something in moti

The old lady at the front desk is very rude , when coming down to ask for thing she say that there isn’t anymore lying because I would have came down and ask a different person for it and would get the things I needed . When trying to pay for my room a day a head of time I was told I had to comeback and check out and check back in when I normally pay on a Thursday and do on Friday . When ask for a key to be remade she gets an attitude and not wan to do her job … also when we give noise complaints she doesn’t do anything about it or say they don’t speak English when you run a hotel but can’t communicated with the guess threw Google Translate like the other works do .. she just don’t out in the effort to do anything dealing with the hotel
