Courtyard Inn

The Courtyard Inn has been around since I can remember. It's a nice and cozy little place to stay and the manager named Lisa is extremely nice. Lisa takes pride in the hard work she puts in to keep the place safe, clean and enjoyable and it shows 😊 Their prices are also more than reasonable compared to most other motels and it's always been the hot spot for families to go that are down and out because they do keep it so affordable for ALL. I'm very happy I stayed here and it gave me peace knowing that management is so vigilant with the motel and the surroundings. Thank you Lisa and Courtyard Inn for keeping me happy, safe and warm 🙏

Run….do not walk. The ADA (American Disabilities Act) would shut them down if they saw there are stairs to the rooms…to get ice….to go to the front door. No one With a wheelchair could stay here. That’s against the law. Most of the staff were rude, if not obnoxious. The water smells of chlorine and the coffee they provide is ridiculous. Musty as hell….ick. No one is there from 9 pm to 9 am. When I asked why they said its because its too dangerous for us to stay here….the owner says its not safe here. Really? Safe for the guests, though…. The place stunk….no one helped me with my bags….I am in my 70’s and disabled. They did not care. Just an awful place….there are so many Inns, hôtels and motels in the area…..go to one of them instead of this place…. I will never return….

Hey! This is a wonderful, little, and VERY clean motel. It is in the small town of Chestertown, MD. The motel manager and maid are on-site. All the staff are wonderful and friendly people. It is a safe place to take your kids. They will go above and beyond to accommodate you! I highly recommend this Motel! There is a good restaurant next door and a gas station with a convenient store inside also next door.

Beware... One of the worst experiences ever! I booked a room at this roadside motel reading the reviews. Upon check in at the office it smelled bad and heavily of marijuana. I was finally checked in by some drug addict looking staff and headed to my room. Upon entering the room I completed a full inspection and found the carpet was ripped and unbearable to walk on, the bathroom very unsanitary with hair left behind from a previous guest, under the bed I found a syringe. I immediately went to the office and asked for a full refund and complained to the staff regarding my room encounter. I honestly think they did not care and told them I am not going to stay here with my family. Have stayed here a number of times in the past few years. Excellent service, clean rooms and good location. Family owned and operated.
