Customer Reviews
This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with a motel. Sure it’s cheap and you get what you pay for. I got a room for a week. I immediately went and inspected the room. The room was filthy and had bugs everywhere. I was willing to deal with bugs until I look at the bed and it was covered in bed bugs. I went to the front desk to ask for a refund and the owner asked why. Trying to be respectful and not I have problems I told he I found something else. He said I broke something and asked me to stay in the office while he went and looked at the room. I refused. I followed him into the room and due to me lifting the blanket he said no refund. He went and examined the bed and I told him look at all the bugs. He started wiping them off the bed and said there are none as he’s actively wiping
Adequately clean but very shabby. There is a reason it is cheap. Based on the colorful and battered bathroom tile, it dates from the 1940s, and remnants of old paint jobs and bashes and dings are everywhere, making it appear more dirty than it is. Bed and bed linens were nice. Standard heating/cooling system controlled in the room, but no smoking room was still a tad stinky. Room was big, bathroom tiny. Door lock secure, but door itself ill fitting. Microwave and fridge very nice, but no way to make coffee unless you bring your own stuff, including something to boil water in microwave. Harsh fluorescent lighting. One plug available for phone charging. No sign visible outside, it’s behind a big liquor store, had to rely on gps to find it.
PLACE/ROOM (6/10): A basic 2-star hotel doing its best. Rooms and furniture were clearly from a previous decade but everything worked. WiFi and AC ran smoothly. The bed cover, however, had a smell, and the bathroom had more spiders than you’d like to see before bed. Also, the toilet seemed to have its own personality. PRICE (8/10): $70 per night with free parking. Hard to complain when you’re not shelling out big bucks. SERVICE (7/10): The staff was genuinely kind. We arrived late and were still welcomed with a smile. Nothing more special about services. ATTITUDE (9/10): The receptionist was chill and friendly. Gotta love people who don’t panic about delays. CLEANLINESS (5/10): Mixed bag. Room itself was fine, but the bed cover’s odor and bathroom wildlife dropped the score. ADDITIONA
Lovely people but the rooms are smelling. The single sofa was smelling, the bed covering was smelling, and the flooring. The bathroom was not easy to take shower because it also smell bad. Across, there is a very nice shop with amazing sandwiches.
This place charges for service dogs which is illegal to do but they do it anyway their doors are falling off the hinges the curtains do not stay closed the doors to the end tables fell off and hit me on the foot
