Comfort Inn & Suites Chestertown

Decent hotel for the location. Love the soap and lotion scents. Staff was top-notch, especially with maintenance fixing my leaky shower head ASAP. That said, it’s not the best - Definitely needs a face lift. The shower floor has rust spots and the caulk came out. The walls and furniture were stained and the carpet also had holes in spots.Also had a weird smell. But overall, not a bad hotel, just needs some cosmetic help.

I was there for business. The rooms were ok, but the carpet and chairs were pretty stained. The free hot breakfast wasn't very good. The "scrambled" eggs were burnt. No fruit, cereal or yogurt was offered. Wasn't impressed with the coffee creamer or cleanliness around the coffee machine.

Convenient location for our visit. Clean room and breakfast area. Nice breakfast selection. Efficient and friendly check-in. Hot cocoa was available at the check-in desk, which was welcome after a long drive on a very cold night.

Loved this hotel! Seems new, very clean, welcoming, quiet. Room was big and comfy, breakfast is superb. Good value! The location was a five minute drive from all that Chestertown offers. We were pleased to find a chain hotel that was well-run and in great shape.

Positive: Cleanliness, breakfast, staff, bed was wonderful Negative: Did not realize there would be a $50 surcharge for my two dogs. If it was on the website, I apologize. I only had scheduled for one night so don't know if the surcharge was for entire visit or each night.
