Red Roof Inn Savannah - Southside/ Midtown

This is not a good place to stay. I tried to take my dog for a walk and had to be on the lookout for hypodermic needles in the lawn. I'm pretty sure diabetic people weren't throwing them on the ground. Next time I'm in Savannah I will steer clear of this Red Roof Inn. There are many Red Roof Inn's that are clean, secure and safe. This is not one of them.

Well, we walked into our NON SMOKING room and it reeked of cigarettes/pot. The comforter was stained, ceiling was peeling paint, hole in the bathroom wall from the door and I saw a roach scurry across the floor in the restroom

First off let me start by saying the rooms were filthy and smelled. Trash was on the floor behind the bed, cigarette burn holes on the toilet seat, shower was filthy, furniture broken, had to strip the bed because the sheets was making us itchy and we discovered dog hair on the sheets, had to buy cleaning supplies to satisfy our stay, very active outside at night with people being loud and running around. Place needs to be closed down or burned down again this motel is absolutely ridiculous and filthy. I wouldn’t stay in this place again even if it was a last stay option.

It was okay but the room had an odor and no amenities we in the hotel.

This was the last night over at the end of our 30 days road trip, for me and my three pet rabbits; on our way back home to Fort Lauderdale. I had one more free night voucher; so we stayed here. The room was nice, the staff were friendly, and my rabbits could play on the grass. The only issue was that the rooms were not cleaned enough; whereas a found a soda can tab on the floor and cigarette burn holes in the bed comforter. And although Steven, and the staff were great; some of the guests were definitely on the shady side and all hung out in the courtyard. One of them approached me to ask me if I was leaving, and where I was headed to. I told him to mind his own business. Always be security conscious when traveling!
