Red Roof Inn Sanford

The rooms have been upgraded and now have a kitchenette with a sink, an induction cooktop, (fee for utinsils) an apartment size fridge with separate freezer, large enough for multiple 4lb Yeti blue ice blocks, so i dont need ice for my cooler. Nice office chair and desk and a separate dining table.. Good water pressure, and decent cleaning service.. clientele has improved as well.. I stay here several times per month..

The room was dirty. The bed sheets was not changed and the bathtub looked like someone gave a dog a bath in it. The refrigerator was rusted and moldy. The quiet policy is not enforced good luck going to sleep. The heat dose not work. The whole place is rundown definitely more like a hotel 6 from the movies than a true red roof. The breakfast is over at 9:00 but thay leaves the cereal and milk out but then threaten to call the police if you use it after breakfast hours.

No soap in dispenser in shower. Hair dryer didn’t work. One chair to sit in. Nothing heavier than a sheet on bed. Heater not hold set temperature. Out of “breakfast” choices at 8 am. First room assigned, key didn’t work til desk clerk checked and switched rooms so we could enter. One cup coffee pot.

Positive: My room was on the first floor. Negative: They advertise having a breakfast, but it's nothing but cereal.

If i could leave 0 stars I WOULD! Front desk lady was so rude disrespectful and full of attitude for absolutely no reason she was no help at all! Finally got into the room it smelled like someone chain smoked cigarettes in here, no blanket at all just a paper thin sheet, the smallest movement the bed was squeaking ALLLLLLLL NIGHT from the smallest movement, the shower was disgusting . Not a welcoming hotel what so ever I will never come back to this place . Clearly they don’t take accountability for anything and don’t really care to give customers a warm welcome.
