Palomino Motel

Everyone that works here are very helpful and friendly. It's quite. Other ppl staying here keep to themselves. The location is close to EVERYTHING. The place needs some updates. It fits our purpose and needs tho and that's what is important.

My husband was staying at this motel for over 2 months. He was working nearby at a Paper Mill plant. This hotel was in the price range of what his employer was willing to pay each day for his stay during the construction period of his job. I went there for a 1 week visit and was horrified! It is a older motel, but I didn't mind as long as the rooms were clean. There are 2 different parts to this motel. The cheaper rooms are in the older version of the motel near pool and front lobby. Located on the back of the property is a newer "Executive" suites. These suites are usually always booked up in advance, due to the fact that Sanford in the middle of no where and there are not many other hotels/lodging to offer nearby. ||The room that my husband rented for us for the 1 week I was there was G

This motel is very clean with spacious rooms and great lighting (blackout curtains to if you prefer.) It is very quiet and I feel very safe here. They also have a playground and pool for the young ones. Internet is an issue so plan to use your hot spot or bring your own. We picked up 5g at TMobile and it's working just fine.

I had an issue with room service. When they'd clean and my clothes were on the floor, Id return to the room to find them wet and smelling of urine. Otherwise it was an okay stay.
