Red Roof Inn Marion, VA

I'm headed south to florida from pennsylvania. I just needed somewhere cheap to stay for the night but when I met the man at the front desk, i decided to book for two 2 nights instead! 🤣❤️✨️ He was just very warm and friendly and this seems like a nice place to hold up. The rooms are decorated nicely, but I can't say they're very clean ( bring your own lysol wipes)... but other than that, i will be staying here again... it may not be the cleanest place, but there's a really good vibe... it's very relaxed and friendly... you can tell a lot of thought has been put into the place, you can feel it's loved! ❤️⚖️🪶

I can't believe no one has mentioned the loud train whistles that come by almost every hour all night. The room was decent, but we could only sleep intermittently between loud train whistles. I have no idea why a hotel was built so close to train tracks. The floor was so dirty it blackened our feet walking around on it for a short while. The only positive was the breakfast bar, but we came in a 8:00am to no coffee made and hardly any food stocked. We asked the lady at the reception desk for coffee and she came and made some and brought food to restock. She was friendly and accommodating after we brought the lack of coffee to her attention. Somewhere on this website it should be mentioned about the trains. No one would anticipate being woke up all through the night by loud train whistle bla

I've had to stay twice for work, and everyone is so nice and helpful. The room is clean, although dated some. The price was reasonable, will be staying again.

The two ladys that run it and I believe there names are maranda and Amanda if I'm not mistaken are wonderful people. The generalmen on night shift was a great help also

The person at the front desk was very nice but paint was peeling or rubbed off the walls in my room, there was black mold on the vent by the shower head but otherwise the room was clean. The room had a small refrigerator and microwave which I did not use and a TV that I didn't use either.
