Red Roof Inn Greensboro Coliseum

I got a room with a king bed. The bed is so worn out that it is sunken in almost a foot on both sides. There are no night side lamps. The heater does not work and it's February. There is no fridge, microwave or coffee maker in the room. Check in was pretty painless though. The tub is ridden with rust and there is no exhaust fan or window in the bathroom which is against code, I don't know how they got away with that one. The TV is tiny 20" and no channel guide. No wifi provided either. It is close to the colosium which is why I chose it, so that's good if that's why your here. It's advertised online that they have breakfast, they DO NOT have breakfast.

PLEASE get a new employee in the morning maybe one that smiles and says good morning at least even if it’s not their day don’t take it out on the customers like the Blk older lady with glasses 3/7/26 and 3/8/26 BOTH times she’s took super long to check me in and created a line ultimately for self ALSO watching movies at work at the front desk with the lobby door locked and it’s past 11 AM you want to work or watch movies? Morning shift you should be on it first impression is everything I believe the disgruntled worker needs to find a job outside of customer service for her unfriendliness OR if yall do NEED her bad enough put her on 3rd shift where it makes more sense for her to lock the doors watch movies and halfass do her job and provide low quality customer service. Trust me you’ll see

My itinerary was ready upon my arrival. The front desk staff was very friendly and prompt with making sure my stay will be rewarding… I asked for a quiet side and it was very quiet. Those are the reason why I rated this hotel 5
