Red Roof Inn Dothan

Short on towels. Room was very clean. Breakfast was limited in quanity. Had to pick up early ! Paper bag had bottled water, yogurt, pastry, energy bar...high quality, good for an early start. Staff was polite. Reasonable rate. Great Location ! We would book again.

Rooms are disgusting. First room was supposed to be non-smoking and smelled like an ashtray. Bedding was dirty/stained and the toilet wouldn’t even properly flush. I had to ask to be moved to another room. Second room smelled slightly less like an ashtray but faint hint of it there. Bedding was better (sheets looked clean, but the comforter has stains on it) and the bathroom was disgusting and the toilet still had someone else’s surprise in it. I work on the road and get stuck in some bad rooms, this one was one of the worst I’ve seen. You can tell the owners or staff just don’t care. The bar was on the ground and they still fell short.

I enjoyed my stay got some of the best sleep ever cause it was super quiet and the beds were quite comfy

Positive: The staff was definitely the best part of staying at the Red roof inn. Negative: Wish they offered breakfast.

So I just read some of those terrible reviews on this place from a couple months ago. I don't know what happened a couple months ago but I was there just yesterday and the place was clean clean zero bugs and I hate bugs and I watch for them. There were zero bugs. The place was clean and beautiful and people were friendly and I loved the place. I have to stay at red roof because of dogs and they have nice laminate floors again. Everything was clean. I don't know what they were talking about again if it was two months ago, they've taken care of it so don't be afraid to stay and I hope they get bit more good reviews great place
