Hilton Garden Inn Dothan

I stayed 2 consecutive nights in 2 different rooms. Room was clean and well stocked. I read some reviews about lack of cleanliness so I checked the room and bathroom closely. The room and particularly the bathroom were very clean. I took advantage of the cook to order breakfast. Loraine has great control of the breakfast area. I walked down very early and the area was clean and orderly. Her service was professional and timely. Breakfast was excellent and her service made it taste even better ! Thank you.

I travel alot for work through Alabama, so I am in Dothan on many occasions. I faithfully stay here no matter if im working in Dothan or somewhere within 30 miles I'll still rather come stay here. Everything is great from the cleanliness to the staffs customer service and the food is great, I recommend the chicken sandwich. The bar is always a great occasion to socialize even if you dont drink. Ashley is the awesomeness in a bartender you could ever ask for, she is like your sister even if its your first time meeting her. Samantha is also Amazingness and sweet as peach cobbler. I highly recommend anyone on the road from home, stop on in and feel a little home here on the road.

Positive: "" Negative: No breakfast. Air conditioner ran & rattled continuously. Not able to make any adjustments to it with the whatthermostat. Mattress pad did not fit the mattress, and therefore that and the sheet pulled off the bed as soon as asI l laid down.

I'm a diamond member. I say this so it is known that I stay in many Hilton properties, all over the country. This place isn't horrible, but it's dated. Carpet needs replaced in the room and in the hallway. The biggest reason this gets 3 stars is because they charge you for breakfast. A podunk hotel in a podunk area, and you can't even get breakfast?? They do have free coffee, but the fact that you have to pay for what is complimentary in EVERY OTHER HILTON (most of them anyway) is a deal breaker for me. Nothing horrible about the place, but I won't be staying here again. I hope the breakfast was worth it :(

Rooms have always been clean and comfortable. The best part about visiting this location ia the Food & Beverage Manager/Bartender, Ashley. She has always been friendly, professional, and very attentive. The only thing I would like to see changed is reduced pricing for domestic beer. $5 for a domestic is pretty steep.
