Red Roof Inn Columbus West - Hilliard

We're doing a long stay at the moment and I have no complaints. The office staff and room cleaning staff have been great to us. First impression is that our room was very clean and well maintained. It is quiet and no lurkers asking for a cigarette. They check everyday if we need fresh linens or toiletries. On-site laundry and vending machines. Ice machine works. Coffee available in office all hours of the day. All around, it's been a great experience compared to the last hotel we stayed in. Thank you!

DO NOT LET THEM GIVE YOU ROOM 124. The room was filthy, missing lightbulbs and had a strong smell of smoke like a chain-smoker's convention had occupied the (100% Smoke free) room prior to our stay. I put a washcloth on the floor and cleaned a 16 inch circle with it and it was black. If the room had been cleaned in a month I would be very surprised. I get that it's cheap and we were not expecting the Hyatt .We travel on the cheap often but this was hands-down one of the worst rooms we have ever stayed in. We'd stay in a shack as long as it was clean and warm. We highly recommend NOT staying here especially with children.

The building could use some updates, as it feels a bit tired. Check-in took longer than expected since no one was at the desk right away, but once we got checked in, the staff was helpful. The room was clean and comfortable overall. A few of the light fixtures didn’t have bulbs, but the front desk provided them when requested. Everything else in the room—TV, sink, and A/C—worked well. Overall, it was a decent stay.

Evan was a very respectful caring and thoughtful worker and human being and generally cared about helping others very professional worked with us and made sure that our room we're clean and in order great guy and great staff housekeeping is amazing and a very comfortable place to stay if you're in the area thanks again Evan
