Red Roof Inn Byron

This hotel is a recently renovated former motel, which I like, traveling with pets, and I would highly recommend it. Rate is great. They didn't even charge me for my pet. It is very clean. Linens were fine & the bed was very comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is room blackout curtains. It's like daylight if you wake up in the middle of the night. Front desk person is very friendly and helpful.

The customer service was outstanding—every staff member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and eager to help. They made check-in smooth and were quick to assist with anything I needed during my stay.||Housekeeping was also exceptional. My room was spotless, well-stocked, and clearly maintained with care. It’s rare to find such attention to detail at this price point.||Overall, this location is a gem. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming—perfect for a quick stop or a longer stay. Highly recommend if you're traveling through Byron!

Easy check in, room is clean. While walking around we noticed outside trash cans at the back of the building were overflowing. Trash spilling into the driveway. We did arrive on Christmas Day so we assumed everyone is enjoying the Holiday and only person working is at the front desk. This is our second visit and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Madison was fantastic. I was skeptical at first of the rooms but she took a moment to let me look at one, and they're actually pretty nice for the price. Definitely one of the better deals off of this exit. Great customer service work Madison!!
