I think this place has some potential to be much better if the owners put more work into it. I understand being a small business owner can be difficult though. Good things: > bed and furniture were nice. We liked the decor. > good location for the town. There were great food options nearby. > owner was very responsive over text to our requests. Not great things: > Spa package ($60) included the large soaking tub, which did not have hot water at all. We messaged the owners, but they just said that it takes awhile to warm up, which didn’t happen after running it for at least 30 minutes. The sauna and sand rooms were still nice to use. I didn’t bother asking for a refund for the spa because I was trying to relax and didn’t expect that they would oblige. I would skip that option next time. >

When we booked our night at this hotel we had NO idea it is a bed and breakfast, it does NOT say that in the ad. Also, the ad says it has a restaurant and bar, neither were open. The ad says kid friendly, But nowhere does it say pet friendly! We were unlucky to have the people right next door who had a dog who barked ALL night LOOOONG! There was NO hot water for a shower! We will NOT be recommending this hotel to anyone! NOT worth the stay!

After a GREAT day at Crazy Horse, we were excited to go to our resort hotel which turned out to be anything but!! Pulled up to a run down building that was for sale with boards on many windows. Checked in to our 2nd floor room just before 8pm. Musty odor in the lobby. The guy left;said we could have his parking spot.NO ONE would be on premises while we stayed there. We were the only guests there. The advertised 1891 steakhouse was not operable nor was the bar. The massages we wanted wouldn’t be available. Owner said you have to book in advance.News to us.We wondered how we would be safe- being the only ones there and no hotel security-the owner said he would lock us in & we would have a key to the main door downstairs to get out if we needed to. What if there was a fire?Better grab the key

My husband and I booked room 209 at Red Rock River Resort. As soon as we got to our room my husband started feeling like he couldn't take a deep breath and developed a cough. We thought it could have been due to the heat and how heavy the air felt on the second floor, where the rooms are located. The sauna rooms are on the same floor as the rooms and the whole second floor was extremely warm. Soon after my husband started having symptoms I started having trouble taking a deep breath and my chest felt tight. We ended up leaving the hotel after an hour of being there and had to book another hotel. The owners were unwilling to give us our money back. My husband and I both travel a lot for work and kids sports and we have never had to change hotels. I would highly recommend staying away from t

We just left and have to say this place was great. After reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned. I think that the negatives were because they were expecting a full service hotel. It may have been that in the past, but now it is more of an airB&B style situation. Our room was well appointed and spacious . It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The second floor hallway was warm but the room had its own window a/c so it’s nice and cool. We booked the soaking tub and it was ready to go when we arrived. Wish we’d known 48 hours in advance we’d be there, we so needed a massage. They do not have a restaurant but there are several options within walking distance. The Smokehouse has great BBQ and smoked Mexican food options. Did not meet Joe & Julie but they responded to every te
