Red Carpet Inn

So I checked in on a Friday with a friend and when we arrived in the room and unpacked we heard a loud banging on the door which turned out to be 2 sherriff officers in bulletproof vests stating that they were looking for a felon with a warrant. I let them know that we were not criminals and had recently checked in about 30minutes ago. The officer then asked if anyone else is in the room and proceeded to let me know that they would be returning several times in the night. So my friend left after packing their things and then I began to pack my things and go to the front desk. When I stated I was leaving and wanted a refund the men at the desk became irrate and beligerent in their character and responses stating that I was ignorant for wanting to leave, that the police are here to keep

This place is terrible it's filthy. There is mold everywhere the manager Joanne is very rude . I would rather sleep in my car. The owner is a slum lord he's got more hotels/motels in Tampa that are just as bad and have been under investigation and in the papers for being so bad. Look it up trust me don't waist your money or time you will be very disappointed.

Didn't have any hot water to take a hot shower. Pay 60.00 in cach to take a cold shower. I was very I was very disappointed with the place by that they should never rent a room without having hot water so I paid 60 bucks for cold shower I would not recommend the place at all to anybody because if you like cold showers go ahead and sleep there

This place is now called Budget Inn where they admitted to not having a license for using name "Budget Inn" .recently my mother booked 10 nights where she unknowingly slept in a bed full of bedbugs. She showed the management / owner her bites and a specimen and they accused her of bringing bedbugs with her and denied having any at all. They offered a credit $120 out of $320 and she stayed only 3 nights out of 10 she planned. She will never stay there again since its full of bugs and has yet to call the Polk County hotel inspector under this new management.

Small and affordable great friendly service couldn't ask for a better place at $45 bucks a night! It says red carpet inn on Google maps but it's a budget inn
