Villatel Village At Solterra Resort

We always stay at Villatel Village and keep coming back for a reason. The property is absolutely gorgeous and honestly one of our favorite places to stay. Everything feels beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, and the overall atmosphere is just so fun and relaxing every single time. One thing that consistently stands out is how clean everything is. The homes and shared spaces are always spotless and very well maintained, which makes the whole experience feel even more comfortable and easy. You can really tell they care about the details. Their responsiveness is also amazing. Anytime we have a question or need anything, they respond so quickly and are always helpful and kind. I was a bit skeptical when booking this as the pictures compared to the price looked too good to be true. Fortunately, all of our expectations were exceeded. The rooms, that essentially serve as hotel rooms within the larger house, are the perfect mix of privacy while still being able to come together around the living room, movie theater, game rooms, and especially the pool area. The customer service was incredible. We had a few small issues w/ the projector upon arrival (on a Sunday) and they had multiple people out within a few hours to correct the issue. Cons: - The walls between rooms and open areas are pretty thin (although I've been told that's true w/ almost all condo/resort construction in Florida). We had a great time staying at the Enchanted Escape right before Christmas! The location was perfect and close enough to all things Disney. It was also close enough to the malls for a day of shopping. The house itself was amazing! Our kids loved the pool, game room and theater room. The themed rooms were probably their favorite part because of the slides! We made so many memories and can’t wait to go back soon!

We had a good week at Villatel Solterra. Our family stayed in the Popstar Palace. Unfortunately, the hot tub and pool heat were not working at the house we were staying at which put a damper on our week, as we were really looking forward to using these with the kids. Maintenance finally came two days before our last day and fixed it, but it took maybe 10 phone calls to finally have someone come to fix it. This was our third time staying with Villatel, so we definitely enjoy the houses and all of the fun amenities they have. Staying in Davenport is a nice area but the traffic coming from Disney Parks on the I-4 can be challenging with little kids (45 - 1hr drive when it’s busy). Over all this was a decent experience. A few of the amenities that drew us to this location were unavailable or inaccessible which was a disappointment, however we did make the best of our week. The studio was billed as fully functioning, and as a family of professional and degreed musicians and vocalists, the fact that pedals were missing on the drum kit, the only player was a karaoke machine, the mini-split in the studio could not be used because there was no remote, the soloist booth was present but no equipment therein. The keyboard had no midi cables nor anything else to connect it to sound. We expected quite a bit more, but alas we were only able to do karaoke.
