Rathbone Mansions

A Historic Gem in the Heart of New Orleans! Staying at Rathbone Mansions was the highlight of my trip to NOLA. These two historic mansions are absolutely stunning and offer an authentic, "old-world" charm that you just can’t find at a modern hotel. Our room was beautiful, with high ceilings, antique-style furniture, and a super comfortable memory foam bed. I loved starting my mornings on the front porch overlooking Esplanade Avenue with a coffee in hand. The pool and hot tub area is a hidden oasis—perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. If you want a stay that feels like a true New Orleans experience, this is it!

Positive: The location is very convenient. Walking distance from restaurants, cafes and French Quarter. Negative: The AC in my room was leaking. It was a little frustrating that we had to figure out what to do about it. We ended up using the trash can and it filled with water many times.

We lived our week in the Louis Armstrong suite. It was wonderful. Yes, the stairs up to it are steep. But we knew that ahead of time| The suite was spacious for 3 of us. The beds were very nice. The s.c worked great! The staff was helpful.|We loved walking to Buffas bar almost every day.|The continental breakfast every morning was just right for us.|I will really miss the pool, where I spent time every afternoon .|We felt safe in the neighborhood, and walked a lot of places.|We'd love to stay there again.

Rathbone Mansions was the perfect place to stay! We came to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl and loved the Mansions location was so nice! We walked all over the French Quarter and it was easy access for Ubers! We took time for a quick soak in the hot tub to relax. We had a suite and it was so nice to have extra space. It was like our own little NOLA apartment. The bed was so comfortable and there were plenty of linens, soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The coffee and breakfast snacks were very convenient. We will definitely be back!!

Location was great. Beds were comfortable. We were 2 blocks off rampart which was a easy walk to the quarter. The hot tub was being repaired for most of our stay but staff kept us posted by text when it was open. They were so nice a gave us a bottle of champagne since it wasn't open yet. I would recommend and stay here again.
