Rapids Inn & Suites

Still using covid as an excuse to not offer breakfast or even coffee. Website still says they offer hot breakfast. If they aren't bringing it back they need to lower the cost. I've stayed in some run down places but even during covid they had coffee. Room was clean but need major updates. Walls and ceiling paper thin.

Horrible, horrible. I don't know where to start so I will say this. RUN fast. The washcloth someone changed oil in their car. Deadbolt busted. Party up and down the steps all night. Homeless laying sleeping in the weeds. Drugs or prostitution or both upstairs. Got up and left at 3AM. Called to ask for a refund and was bitched at that we didn't come to him at 3 am. No way were we walking through that crowd at that time of the night. UNSAFE

Positive: The staff Negative: Two times the police were on grounds for criminal activity. Watched two individuals exit what appeared to be their room through the window at 2am.That being said, I felt safe throughout my stay.

I booked due to work. I was working night's the hotel manager just let himself into my room while I was sleeping on 2 separate occasions. Very rude, zero sense of a client’s privacy.

The place was pretty bad & feel bad to complain but it was cringeworthy. We stayed this last weekend by accident because we had a yearly event in town. We live a few hours away. All other places in town were booked. We asked for a 2nd pillow & were charged $20 deposit to make sure we return it. Room was non smoking and smelt like 50 years of smoke and had a haze in the room. I had a sore throat all weekend. Went to the store to buy air freshener and our own towels. Walls were stained & room was dirty. Outdated is fine but cleanliness is another. The deadbolt did not work. Bedding had cigarette holes & stains. Floor was hardwood but I brought Clorox wipes to help clean what I could. I know the room is on a budget but some cleanliness & upkeep is a must. Place reminded me of the
